3210 v6.00 and complete reedit of icons

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I found it useable and reasonable :)
Sorry for my freaky english but I'm still learning this language ( someone have it learned in 100% ??? :] )

Ok, but the topic is :

HOW CAN I CHANGE GRAPHICS ICONS IN MY NOKIA 3210 ?

I know that :
- I can use FGraphic.exe ( v1.01 by Hasky or someone [sorry i've forgot]
- I can use NokHex.exe
- I have to recalculate PPM checksums ( WHAT UTILITY TO DO THIS CORRECTLY ???? )

Does NFree.exe calculate it in right way for nokia 3210 ???
In addition I will say that I've my nokia flashed from version v5.01 (old soft, maybe old hardware) to version 6.00 ( using dejan flasher and 3210F600_T9pl.fls ) and I hadn't to recalculate EEPROM CRC-s by nk_calc !!!! - phone has network signal and is functioning in right way ).

ppm manager is good for calculating ppm checksums

Changing logo's with NokHex or FTone.

First, do Ur edits with any of these tools, always in full flash!
(mcu + ppm but NO eeprom).

Not use the correct MCU checksum in NokHex, it does only half the job.

Then use nFree1.2, only to correct MCU Checksums.
if U get cannot read eeprom/ pmm in nFree12, no problem.

Then use ppm manager091 for correction of the flash checksum.

Then flash the mcu & ppm.

Then authorise faid with kNok22 or bpreaks eeprom tool.

Complete reedit of my nokia graphics is complete :))) and works fine.
I've made all animations in paintbrush :))))) and import them into fls in FGraphic.
After that I've used NFree 1.2 to correct MCU checksum.

Flashed it to phone and have faid corrected by Logger v2.0

works great. Now I've got unique nokia 3210 in the world.

Simple question...

What address do i need to backup from and to,
for the MCU + PPM ??? (in a 3210)

then when i edit icons is it as easy as just re-flashing, updating faid if it says contact service and it should work???

You need to back up your nokia from 00200000 to 00400000.

The flash file will contain all MCU code with PPM.

the Icons are in MCU, so after editing it, you need to correct both of MCU checksums. You can do it by nFree v1.2 [ works fine for me ].

After recalc of MCU Checksum flash all file back to phone ( remember to have an original backup stored in safe place !!!).

Now you probably will have to update FAID authority in eeprom of nokia - run Logger v2.0 by bPhreaks [ works on MBUS ] and do Read and Update.

After that DON'T RESET TO FULL FACTORY, but simply try to run your nokia normally, insert sim-card...

When you get CONTACT SERVICE - don't panic, reflash your phone with orginal backup, and it should work.
Then check all your steps, and try again.

(I tried it last night - changed icon from 200 400 mcu+ppm
opened and repaired mcu checksum in nfree1.2 flashed to fone
worked ok
but if i have ANIMATED icons in my 3210 then it doesnt like it
gives me no signal
i used Noktool 1.8 to update faid but still no luck
i shall use the progs you listed)
