remote s60 crashing bigtime!!

The exe on da fone crashes every 5-10 mins....any idea wots happenin? Any1 else facing da same problem?? I'm using IR

it's very simple.

install the .sis on fone
install the .exe on PC

-connect ur fone to pc via IR as always
-run the .exe and set Connection to IR
-run the .sis on the fone---->Options --->connect

I get that - but when i connect after a few mins....sis on fone shutsdown.....crashed!

maybe ur right...cuz this problem has started lately. Also Ive noticed my cell has become damn slow...all of a sudden.

btw...i uninstalled minigps n da problem is reduced by 50%. I think da problem is RAM n some of da app's usin alot of it.

well, you could try to install something like STACKER to compact your memory before running the Remote S60. I'm not sure if it work but it worth a try

not really sure abt installing memory compressing proggie's. From experience on da pc...they tend to slow down da machine. How does stacker fare in that area?

I do not notie any difference on my phone. I does not run in the background so I don't think it will slow down the phone.

You can also use Stacker to compress the programs (I do it to programs that I do not use very often) to save space so you can have more programs in the phone.

To compress the RAM, you just have to run Stacker, select Compact Memory. You can quit Stacker after that and run Remote S60 straight away. That should help.

amico...the problem isn't Stacker....stacket is perfect and it's essential if u have 7650.

the problem is RAM: r u sure that u close all the progs. u run??
