i have nokia 9110 with oldest possible phone & pda versions.
i want to upgrade to newest ones.

if i short pins 15-16 to get it in relink-mode, it's just like normal, no indicators about relink-mode (i read it should say "relink-mode enabled").

and for the cable, should there be only mbus & gnd connected when using for flashing, no fbus rx & tx?

how can mbus be used when eg. logomanager doesn't recognise there's 9110?
(just want to set logo and activate netmonitor..)

and yes, i tried to read flash from phone with rolis & knokphoenix using flasher cable and my 9110 lead i made. (it has mbus&fbus connected..)

Check on my site, look for file called 9110 total upgrade, it has all the info you need.

right. i already had those same files, as Nokia_9110_MCU_WinTesla.zip.

hold phone up right pin 1 is to the left.
connect pin 15-16.
Connect battery.
On screen (top left in small text) should say
'relink mode enabled'
can now flash as 5110.

that's what i have done, phone doesn't say about relink, pda neither.

rolis can't read because flash type 0 or something.

and how about the cable? i had fbus rx&tx, mbus, gnd connected -> didn't work, and now same when only mbus & gnd.

and why no text about relink mode when pins 15 & 16 connected?
something broken?

Make sure it is pins (15-16) nearest the simcard holder not the other end, it's been some time since I have done this but it does work.

You must have relink mode on the screen for flashing the phone part.

i'm thinking there is something broken.
just normal pda when connecting 15-16 and put battery back.
i have not opened that phone, maybe it's time to open and check is it ok.

Told you it had been sometime since I had done one, try the last 2 pad on the other end not the simcard end (just done 5 today so I know it's right:grin: )
