IR wont connect

I have a 7650, its worked perfect with my laptop everytime until now for some reason, it just wont connect to my laptop, itll conect for about a second then disconnectm then itll keep searchin for a device and then itll connect for a second then loose connection

the phone is in direct view of the IR and nothing is in the way, the covers over the IR are clean

ive restarted my PC and restarted my phone and no luck

im lost now :confused:...any one got any ideas??

my hunch is that the problem is not in your 7650. but in your pc or laptop.


try removing the drivers of the infrared (in your laptop) and re-install them.

get da latest drivers for your infra. Did da infra work at all earlier....with other fone's or app's?

I'm with PC and using IR Mars 2. Firstly when I had 7650 I had the same problem just like you but when I checked the properties of my IR I found the problem at speed of the transfering data. I just set it to the highest and my problem got solved. After that, when I bought 3650 I had the same problems and I again I do the same thing with the IR's settings. Of course, there is a probabilitty that in your case it could be a hardware bug, but if not try to re-install it and/or re-install 7650 PC Suit, too. Good luck
