Who has driver for Windows XP for IRda?

I have installed latest version of PC Suite for N9210i, but i have not drivers for IRdA port. Please, send it to me or send me the link.

i dont have the drivers bc i found them at the nokia cd, that is coming inside the box of yr phone.

Check it.....and advice. if u dont have it pls advice... iam trying to find my cd to send it to u, but i can't. so pls check yr cd and advice.

I am afraid, that attached CD include only drivers for Win 95 and 98, because I've installed them from originall CD and it doesn't work with Win xp. I will try this one you send me.
Up to now, I mus use onle cable connection between PC and Communicator, becauce IRDA communication doesn't work :(

hi there :)
the reason that you can't use the irda drivers in win xp is cause if you see, when you activate the irda connection on the comm. win xp detect it has a irda modem. i too had that prob.. but i've manage to resolve it this way:
install pc suite and configure it for the irda port, then activate the irda connection on the comm and when win xp detects it like a modem go to system in control panel (start... definitions... control panel... system). in there go to the hard. manager and find the modem (that it's the comm) and in it's properties deactivate it. now deactivate the irda port too (in hard. manager) and on the connection icon of pc suite on the system tray select retry connection (or something like this... my pc suite is in PT language :) ) the go again to the hardware manager in control panel and activate the irda port. if pc suite doesn't regconize the comm after a while try to activate the modem too (irda modem that it's the comm.). after a while pc suite regconize the comm and from now on you will be able to use the nokia comm with the pc by irda :)
it worked from me. but in win xp i prefer to use the cable connection cause it's more realible.

i am positive that it is work, bc i am working with xp also. the only thing that we have to clearify here is: U CAN NOT INSTALL OR UNISTALL ANY SW VIA IR ON 9210, 9210i,9110 etc. U CAN ONLY SEND & RECEIVE FILES, PIC'S etc.

SO JUST CHECK IF U INSTALL THE DRIVERS FOR THE IR HW IN YR PC.

I AM 100% SURE FOR THIS, CAUSE I AM USING IT THIS MOMENT... PLS TRY ALL THE ABOVE & TELL ME

win xp thinks that the 9210 is a irda modem. i had lot's of prob.s like that. you have to deactivate the drivers on the panel control so that next time you activated it pc suite recognize the 9210 before win xp put it like a modem.

with my pc & my 9210i, doesn;t happen that u said. it was regnonise the phone kike an ir device that u can send & receive files. My pc work my phone like modem only when i create a dial up connection via ir.....iam ensisting bc took me about 10 days to find the way to create the dial up con via tr :lol: if u go at contorl panel u will find the ir settings and u can set where u want to store the files that pc recieve's, and if u want to transfer pic via any ir photo camera....

lol, to make a dial up with the 9210 irda win xp did it in few minutes... but to work with pc suite i had trouble :( because what i had said before. win xp wouldn't let pc suite get on the 9210 by irda. win xp let me send and receive files by irda to the 9210, but if they were bigger than 1 mb, i could send. so i had to do all i said before to have access via irda with pc suite on win xp. and it worked :)
