i use adobe premier to slice and dice them...

then use gsm1.0 as compression when you export...

im not sure... i just had it here in my computer... maybe bcoz i have nokia multi media converter, or symbian series 60 sdk, or code warrior developement kit or nokia internet toolkit or i dont know... i installed a lot of phone utilities in my computer... or probably adobe golive...

all can be downloaded from www.forum.nokia.com

look for an mp3 cutter... then save as .wav... usually a lot smaller than just decompressing the mp3 file.

hey... just using sound recorder from your windows
ex:
you have tes.wav
open with sound recorder
select file-properties-convert nows
in attributes menu select 22,050 Hz 8 bit Mono ( i Think is the best) but you can try more setting for experience)
select ok
then select file-save as....
now yaou have wav files in small size......
