Dear TheBruce...

It is a good idea that we start a special thread for Ebooks, and let us all share our Ebooks in it and deffenetly we all would flowerish our knowledge as we usualy do....

So i will be starting by adding some Ebooks for Alan Edgar Poo..

I have a sugestion, lets stick to the same conept when adding, we write the category under which we the Ebook is lies & and the author...

Ok, good this thread has started, I'll share some ebooks shortly.

It's also a good thing to know that there are two ways of creating ebooks yourself:

with mobipocket publisher. This is a Windows program that creates .prc files for mobipocket reader (still looking for a registered pro version of that one btw ;) ). Mobipocket publisher is a free download from mobipocket.com. The free version can be downloaded here:
http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/DownLoadPublisherStep1.asp

Publisher can create ebooks from html and text files. The free version however creates a disclaimer in every created e-book, but if you unzip the attached file in the directory
C:\Program Files\MobiPocket.com\MobiPocket Publisher 3.0 you won't have that problem anymore :D

Another way of creating ebooks is by using ebookreader by epocware. This utility allows you to create palm compatible ebooks (also .prc but different internal format) on your 9210. It's downloadable from epocware: http://www.epocware.com (still looking for a registered version for this piece of software as well :grin: ).

Another interesting note: Mobipocket reader can read the ebooks created by ebookreader, but ebookreader can't make heads or tails from the .prc files created by mobipocket publisher.

Anyone interested in Harry Potter part 5?

Version 1.0 is out (which means it has been scanned and proofread at least once, but there still may be errors in it). Today or tomorrow version 2.0 will be out which should be almost error free.

I'm now posting version 1.0 and as soon as version 2 arrives, I'll post it here as well.

My i too have the same problem and i realy am in favour of finding the crack for it cause it is getting very interesting to read book with it and then you end up finding yourself out of order regarding it.

Hi,

Adding files has changed a bit. Below the text field there is a link "Manage Attachments". When you click it, a new windows will open (if this doesn't work, you'll probably have a popup killer, kill it).
First click the browse button and select your file. then press the add button. Now the file will apear beneath the buttons (Be patient, it can take a while depending on the filesize and your connection as the file will be uploaded). Once the file is in the list, you can either add another one, select the file for removal or click on "All Done" when all the files are in the list.
Note: at the moment of this posting, you can only post filed with the following extentions: "bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip"

If one of the forum admins are reading this, it would be great if you add .rar to the allowed extentions. ;)

Ah, ok.. Sounds like a (temporary) problem with the board.. Can you try again? For me it seems to be working atm.
