Hi all - i have a samsung a300 im trying to unlock. I have the cable with the red and black that connect to square battery. I have tried all different programs and had a few saying unlock done, and enter *2767*2878#. after the code is entered the phone resets, i enter my voda (its orange original phone) sim and it still says enter unlock code. One prog only recognises the phone when you select a2** as model not a300. Any clues urgently required.

Sounds like the wrong cable mate

Was it a A300 one or for another Samsung model as some of them have different pin outs.

The cable has a sticker on it saying 'sam A300'. It is the one with the black and red clips for a battery. Does this need rewired, llike other clips may have to be? I saw a post saying the phone should be in test mode, shorting two pins - know anything about that?
