is there any way to stop sent text messages being saved in the sent items folder?

I don't think that u can stop it doing that as the phone is programmed to do that and we can moddify the software as it is encrypted...sorry. Although i am getting my 7210 back in 2 weeks from nokia as it kept rejecting my SIM card so hopefully it will work, and i will check for you as to whether u can stop it saving the sent messages. Any one else know any different on this matter?

the option is available via, infra red or usb cable,
thru nokia's software , ie pc suite 5.1

just use the DELETE ALL MSG option and delete all SENT items, however i just delete them 1 by 1 as i am scared of trashing ma inbox

I did'nt find any function in PC Suite 5.1 to disable sent messages being saved in the Sent folder!! There is no option ofcourse. Where did you saw that dannyai? May be your PC Suite's version has that option. Mine has'nt. ;-) :p

i'll check next time im in winxp, cause i have 98 and xp i only put nokia suite on xp
