3510i data cable

can anyone help me.i have bought a data cable but i cant get my pc to communicate with my phone.can anyone recomend any software that may help.i have tried mobimb ,with no joy.

hi,
i also got a data cable for my 3510i today,
and for me mobi mb 1.23 works... you have to stick the battery over the box that connects the pins to the phone and push the phone on, when it is on, start mobi mb and set it to com1 or where you connected it to, then it should work

My dad has just bought a cable for his 3510i and he has the same software with the cable and the phone doesnt show up in the program it doesnt work at all, any help would be appreciated, and i dont think this is a pc problem as my 8310 data cable works perfect on the same com port.
