7250 and Oplayo versions...

Hi all,

Upon reading another thread I searched and downloaded Oplayo (video streaming app) on my pc for transfer to my 7250..all good till this point...however, when I tried to transfer to my phone PC suite will not allow any other file type other than a jad or jar (Oplayp is a .sis file type) to be transferred to the phone. The version of Oplayo is V 2.0 which states is for Series 60 phones however initially thought that it would work on the 7250 (series 40) as I believed that that info may've been outdated on their site and no other link exists for other phone types.

I am aware that Oplayo Version 1.0 may be the right one for the phone but cannot find a link to download it...

can anyone point me in the right direction or even advise me if I am doing anything wrong??

As you wrote 7250 is an s40 phone and it's not able to handle the s60 java files or the .sis symbian apps, on the other hand s40 phones can't play/record video streams

I've tested this app, kind of crap. However, i STILL got it online, if you got WAP enabled, download it by WAPping to this adress:

Attention that is a capital "O" in Oplayerjv, and don't forget the extension .jar.
The application works on a 7250 (tested!) but offers only very few "preset" videos, most of them won't run ("Invalid Video") or make the application hang ("Application error"). It seems this thing is NOT able to receive streaming video.
I will remove this application from my site in the next few days, so better hurry to get it. Hint: Download it via PC by typing the same adress into your browser (or click the link), it will d/l. Then replace that .jar in the end with .jad and download that file, too, you need it if you wanna install via PC suite.

just to tell:
This is NOT software piracy! The files (both JAD and JAR) are offered for FREE download also by the creator of the proggie, i just can't remember their adress.
