exists an stereo headset for nokia3650?

i'm new in the s60 world, I just want to know if exists an stero headset for nokia3650 or if any standard stereo headset works fine with it to listen music.

Before anything else, welcome to the S60 and Nokia's World.

To answer your question, yes... most of the stereo headphones with a jack that fits on the headphones socket of the 3650 do work.

Or else since you've got a 3650, you can always go for a stylier and nicer Bluetooth headphone... (and more expensive hehe), which basically is a wireless headphone's but they normally get to 100 euros or dollars (basically the same).

Xeoninho: you are wrong stereo headphones dont fit into the 3650 the jacks a re two big, u are prbably thinking about a dual headset but this doesnt support playback in stereo only mono, you will never get a stereo headset to work in the 3650 because of the type of connection inside even if you fitted on in

leespud :( thank you for ur info, this is a big problem for me because one of the main software i wanna use on the 3650 is the mp3player.

maybe the 6600 will have it? who knows....

leespud you know if any of the mp3 players make the "downstream" to mono " "on the fly" or if you wanna to hear it better u have to do it on your pc?

Sorry to correct you, but your info is wrong.

The stereo capability is not related to the size of the jack, but to the divisions it has on the plug.

but the headset in the picture is not the one that will play stereo
please maximise the image and look at the jack it has three black lines
no remove a strero headset from your walkman look it has two blacklines, also try put it in your phone
do you get my drift all it is is a dual headset
i have the headset in the picture it does NOT play stereo
the headset that is stereo for nokias only fits 7650, 5100, 7210 and the latest phones with radio

NetHawK- use mp3go as an mp3 player, the dual headset works fine but you have to convert all the tracks to stereo on your pc before you transfer them to the phone

hmmm few minutes ago i see again the dual headset called on nokia web page and in some other web's they called stereo headset... WTF! if i see the lines on the conectors there are 3 maybe 2 stero en 1 aditional for the key of answer call.

maybe, any one can very me that with dualhead set theres o there isn't true stereo?

So what if it uses 2 of them to make stereo and the third one for the answering call button?

After all it's just a matter of connections, and what connects where...

i have an 7650 and i don't use it for mp3 play, cause **** memory*** lol, well i've readed thi posts and there is a lot of confusion in all your heads :confused:
i'll try to explain the situation, and please somebody correct me if i'm wrong... 1rst about the 3 black lines! it's simple!
1 for MONO DUAL headphones, another for the answer botton and the third for the MIC(you all didn't remembered this one did you?:P )
2nd stereo is DIFERENT from DUAL! i mean... you may have a mono system with 1000000 speakers as they are all playing the same sound!
stereo as to do with left/right sound position and obviously to have that effect we need at least 2 speakers (1 in each side)
about the 3650 mono/stereo/surround(lol) question... i must confess that i don't know!but i'm affraid it's mono :( but that's easy to try! just find some music that plays for example 5 seconds in left speaker and then 5 seconds in right speaker (test in your home or pc stereo) convert it to mp3 then play i in 3650 and see if left/right are alternated with sound just like in home stereo ;)

Sorry guys, but the 3650's audio amplifier is mono only. So, its relly impossible to listen in stereo even if you use dual or stereo headset and even if you playback a stereo-encoded mp3 file. The mono output of 3650 is simply wired parallel for left and right side of a dual or stereo headset, so what you hear on the left is exactly the same on the right... Let's just wait for the 6600, it has a true stereo audio output.

As far as I know 6600 will be another mono device just like the 3650 and this pisses me off. If this is confirmed, I certainly wont be getting this phone.

Just like at the specs, if this is stereo device, they would have given emphasis on it

si k funciona el dualheadset, pero es una merda k no sigui stereo :( i ja no tan aixo com la pesima calitat de descodificacio dels mp3 :/

the dualheadset works fine, but its a shit that they dont work in stereo. and the mp3 playback isnt nice at all.
