i have 2 8210's that both have a similar fault. The first one whenever i make or receive calls the signal drops and i hear the 3 beeps to indicate end of call. It does this with every call
The other phone does nearly the same but instead of the 3 beeps it just says battery empty then switches off. It does this no matter how much charge is in the battery and even when plugged into a charger.
I have flashed both phones with known working flashes (from this site) and still get the same results.
I took a look inside the phones and i noticed in one of them the main chip (in the middle of the board) has some kind of black solidified goo the has come from it. may be something may be nothing.
Please help

For the first 8210
this seems a PA problem but firsy of all tou must control and refresh joint of Hagar, Antenna switch and cobba...
For the second 8210
this is an exact PA problem I think you have to cange it.
Good Luck!

Your 1st problem is simple, its barred, the network isnt letting you make any calls. If you are in a legal country to do it, change your imei number with rolis or othe program.

ok folks....UPDATE!
Tested with Eepromtools and DSP tested OK.
Reflashed and updated Faid with Eepromtools, Knok and rolis.
still have same faults....
1. switches off when in a call
2. loses signal when in a call
both work fine when not in call (i.e both have signal and power)
If these are hardware faults (which i think they are) is there anybody in the UK willing to take a look at them for me cheaply???

I have an 8210 and am experiencing exactly the same problem. When calls are made or received it says battery empty and shuts down. I have tried other known working batteries but the problem is still there. If any1 knows a solution please post it!!
