Hello :)
Unfortunately, this can NOT be done, as the "radio" in a mobile phone is a "on-chip" version... there are no coils or xtals to change...... I know what you're talking about :) CB operator here :)
Best regards...

Hello again :)
I know that most radios can be modified by programming, as you are CB op also, you surely know of President's "George" or various others... (Stabo 7812 - from 80 FM to 960 AM/FM by soldering two bridges!) But in the case of "normal" radios, i honestly don't know. It might be possible, but i would not bet on it, as here (Nokia 7210) also the "coils" and all that are actually IN the chip... i think it is not possible to change anything there by programming the chip.
Maybe someone else knows more? It would interest me if the Nokia's in Indonesia are adapted to the FM band there, which reaches from 76-102 MHz as opposed to 87.5 - 108 in the rest of the world.
Best regards...
your Thanh
PS listen on 27.555 for "153 DAA 510"... that's me :) USB mode. Where are you located? Thailand here.
