After having my 3530 for only a week now and playing around with it a lot, the only thing i could find that nokia could have done better on was the phone memory size. Surely they could have made it a lot bigger, just look at all the memory cards etc, they are so small, and now you can get 256 meg ones!!!

hello again blue dragon....

im sorry but there seems that u cant change/add the memory of 3510i becoz it seems that there is no such option/function/feature to do this!!!!, basically u need to have a port on a phone where u can enter/insert a external memory card like SD card, MMC card etc. into the phone in order to add more memory to the phone but heck, 3510i/3530 doesnt even have a pop port connection at all, thats the least thing that should have on a phone....

not to dissapoint u on this memory subject, u can actually add memory to phone like (series 60) 7650/3650 (if im not mistaken) and also to the upcoming and most anticipated nokia, the 6600!!, series 30/40 phones doesnt allow u to add external memory card to the phone!!

till then, bye

hm... i mean is there a chip (flash ram ?)on the circuit board of the phone that can be replaced by one that is bigger ?
but if that is possible, you need to change the firmware maybe (but there is none for that ...)..

not sure about this thing blue dragon, but if there is one, should be nice for those who like to mod/flash their 3530/3510i often....anyway, i still prefer series 40 phones now that i have learned so much about DCT4 phones, bigger screen 128 X 128, radio function and more!!

of course there is memory chip. and it can be changed at least in nokia service.
every chip can be changed.
but if there's some limits or something in phone firmware.

better leave it as it is, if you want more memory buy a phone that uses mmc or so.

(i hate that 64MB memory of 5510, would like something like 256MB memory for that phone...)

@ yeah... after reading through this forum and searching around in the internet i now know i better should have waited with buying a 3510i and waiting a few months to buy a series 40 for maybe the same price... (5100, 6610, 7210.... ?)

now the next phone i'll get will maybe be a series 60, if there will be one in the future that isn't too big and got a cam (atm i just like the n-gage of the series 60 phones, the other ones aren't handy enough, but the n-gage got no cam  )
