I think that these are exactly the same but with different colour housings/chassis?
If this is the case, could i put my nokia 3510i into a 3530 chassis and cover/fascia?
Cheers for any help

Yep you can do it because i have done it. The 3510/3510i/3530 phone dimensions are exactly the same, so the housings just fit straight on. I have both a 3510 and a 3530, and ive swapped covers. The 3530 cover is a better looking cover, but the 3510/3510i cover is easier to play games with. The 3530 buttons are a lot closer together, which make game play a bit harder. See enclosed pic of my 3510/3530, hope i was of help :D

Cheers! The 3530 cover looks so much better!
What colour is the side of the 3530 - the main chassis? I think its blue but not 100% sure, is this also the same size as the 3510i - possible to unscrew internals and swap them into a 3530 chassis?
Cheers for any more help!

hello mate,
you are guessing all right, the 3530 has a dark blue chassis compared to 3510i's which is orange in colour !!!

Nokia 3530 is the Asian edition of the 3510i. Thus, you can buy it, or accessories related to it, in Asia...

I got told in a shop today that the 3510 and 3530 had different button layouts and the covers wouldn't interchange. My phone is a 3530, but I'm not real fussed with the keypad and would prefer the 3510, so I'll try a cover from one of them
thanks.

The button layouts/front housings are different, but the keypad switches under the housing are exactly the same. I have done it, they are interchangable.
