about 6100 operator logo

Hello all

Is there a way to remove the operator logo on a nokia 6100, cauz i find it annoying to see the wallpaper.

I have PC Suite 5.1 ofcourse, but i dont find a way with that

And i also have MobiMB 1.2 but when i install it, that doesnt seem to recognize my phone

I use a DK-U 5 cable for connecting to pc

If u can help out, i would appreciate it very much

Use Logomanager 1.29 or 1.30 and create new blank operator logo and then send it via sms to ur own fon and when u receive it u can see that the logo is actually blank,save it and confirm the replace.

There are also several WAPsites that offer you a transparent operator logo.

Download this to your phone, and by using the operator logo on/off option in the display settings section of settings you can remove/show the operator logo. :cool:

if you are trying to run mobimb 1.2 while pcsuite is running, it won't recognize your phone. cuz pcsuite leaves the port open and no other program can use the port. close all applications of pcsuite (system tray as well) and run mobimb. with mobimb you can change your operator logo ;)

hello, i have a 6610 and i tried that WAP link you gave with the transparent logo. for some reason it works at times, and at other times it does not. it is like the phone autoatically shuts off the logo for a while and then turns i back on. this is so annoying because i want to be able to see the hot chick i have on my wallpaper without the SP being on her face!!

the op logo shuts off and turns back on at will, and sometimes my phone turns off by itself, and when i turn it back on, the logo is gone. what am i doing wrong?

The operator logo is just that, nothing more and nothing less. If your phone keeps displaying the Service Provider Logo erratically, that could be down to the Firmware (Software) in the phone, especially if your phone keeps deciding to turn itself on & off when it feels like it.

A couple of things you could check though before calling somebody to flash your phone with the latest firmware (v4.74 - *#0000# from the keypad to check) is check that the 'Cell Info Display' is set to OFF as this can sometimes flash the SP Logo on the screen as you wonder from transmitter to transmitter (locality zones):

< Menu | Settings | Phone Settings | Cell Info Display >
(Shortcut key: Press 'Menu 4 3 3')

As for the phone turning itself on and off that will more than likely be firmware / software. Check battery connections and that the SIM is properly inserted, then check these forums on '6610 flashing' by searching this site as this topic has been more than covered elsewhere..

Note: the operator logo that you downloaded IS NOT specific to country or SP Operator.
