Hi all, I have been reading the forum over the last few days for some help with my 8310. I have found alot of help. But would just like if I could to get some clarification on some things before I go and buy them :).
Basically I got an 8310 about 2 years ago. It has firmware 04.53, NHM-7, on it.
Last week it just jammed up and when I turned it back on again I couldnt access my phonebook from the card or the phone. I went back to the store where Igot it and they said that it was out of warranty and that the best thing to do would be to Flash the phone and put on new firmware.
I have downloaded
Phoenix_Service_Software_A7_2003.9.7.8
and
nhm7_620
would this be the correct software ?.
Now I can see from a few threads I need to get my hands on a DCT4 cable. I have come across both flasher and data cables ?, are they one in the same ?.
Does anyone have any good links on where to get them, and which specific one do I need ?.
My apologies if this email is a bit confusing. Just want to be able to flash the phone and get it back to normal!. Also if I could use some of the logo/graphic features it would be good.
