hi i have a 8310 mobile phone and i bought it of someone it works when i put in my vodafone sim but i cant make or recieve calls why can u please help me thx!

It sounds very much like your phone is barred... meaning the imei has been blacklisted..

try a different sim in it and when dailing out if you hear "beep beep beep" it means it is barred...
