Hello the forum! :D

I have a 6510, that was donated to my labratory (bedroom computer desk) and its sustained a pretty serious impact against a wall, and since then its just had "insert sim card" come up despite the sim being in there.

I'd really like to have a stab at fixing it but i've not got a service manual for it, and despite my best efforts on google etc i cant find one for a love nor money.

Could some one be so kind as to help me out with a copy? i hate to come begging, to top it all, i cant find my original login details for nokiafree, so i look like a super n00b  :D

 Many thanks.

One thing, is the 8310 PCB identical to the 6510? They seem to be!

If you PM me an email address I can send you a 6510 service manual (they dont seem to be on many of the usual sites)

OK I've now found a website where you can download them directly http://www.nokia-flash.tk/

Click on the "SM & PPM Infos" Button. There are both Level 1 and Level 3 Service Manuals.

I found this, and using the 8310 service manual identyfied the component that was actually MISSING! from the board.

*sigh* its a surface mount and to small for me to attempt a repair i feel, i dont have the equipment.

Frustrating, as i know exactly what part i need
