New FTP for the forum

Finally... just got my cable connection. Put up a FTP for us all to share goodies.. :)

Moderator.. if this is a problem, let me know.

Uploads only to upload folder. I'll sort them out when i can. I've put up whatever i have...thanks to mostly this forum. Thanks Guys.. wouldnt be able to share without u guys.

Just had to add this, hammering and parking on the ftp without activity will get you in to trouble. Oh yeah and a thanks here would be nice! :)

Dear bady could you give me some informations how i can access to yr ftp?
THIS IS MY 3RD MSG REQUIRING SOME HELP, AND ONLY smartphoneuser SPEND SOME (&GOOD) TIME TO EXPLAIN BUT I DIDN'T FIND THE WAY YET. What happened? Can´t get access to ftp because of connection timed out! :( Two days ago it just worked fine with the same settings i use now...:confused:

Guys, sorry its not your fault. The server is down. It was working fine for a couple of days but then went dead. I dont know if I'm being hit or its just a machine fault but I'm at work and cant get to it right now.

Gimme some time it will be up soon as I can get to it. damn. :(

AHA..looks like blasted ISP likes to block ports change the port to 6633 and it should be ok. looks like i will be changing it every couple of days. sorry bout that!

In order to easily update your ftp server install a dynamic dns updating software like http://www.dns2go.com

don´t know man, my download-speed seems to be normal (like 4.7 KB/s but the most i can get out of my old modem is 5.7 KB/s so it´s slow anyway...) Maybe the servers too busy? I´ve seen a lot of new apps there since my last visit!:D :D :D

But if you are use to connection-speed like 400-600 KB/s (DSL) 4.5 KB/s :eek: modem connection is just too bad... :(

...but it takes time to find out what´s there and what´s not...;)

p.s.: opera needs a lot of memory to work, so i think it works really fine only on 9210 v4.13... just check anyway!!! Since it's not an official distribution, it has no support at all
