IT WAS EXPIRED BUT NOW ITS WORKING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

JUST REPLACE THE .app FILE WITH ONE FROM terracro.com

how do u go about doing this?
i beam the .app file to my inbox via IR
but i can't do anything from there
not a copy and paste. so wat shld i do?

You need a file manager program, I use seleQ myself, but there're other ones out there, do a search, i'm sure u'll find lots :)

Can anyone out there who successfully extended the eti cam guide me or anyone else out here who are still in the confused state....lots of thanks in advance...(a sentence that reads "replace ETICamcorder.app with the one attached one")therefore i tried to install the next ETICamcorder.app after deleting the first step but the hp reply me file can't be open due to sercurity....Hazi so fed up....:confused:

1. send the ETIcamcorder.app to your phone.
2. now using a program like Seleq or filemanager go to the c: system/mail directory and look through the folders for ETIcamcorder.app.

3.Copy the ETIcamcorder.app now go to the C: or E: directory depending on where you installed ETIcamcorder (phone or mmc) and locate the system/apps folder open this.

4.open the ETIcamcorder folder now select paste your fone will ask you if you want to overwrite the file select yes.

5.Now exit Seleq or filemanager.

6. Go to ETIcamcorder and enjoy.

I forget the exact, folder, and can't check because i don't have my phone with me currently.

i remember that using IrDA when u transfer files not using pcsuite, the file goes into your inbox folder, corresponding to whether u use your memory card or phone memory as the storage drive.

In one of the inbox folders, when you look thru them with your file manager, the app file will be there. Just copy that file, and then overwrite the existing in the program's folder. It should work then.

Or another way would be to use pc suite. Through bluetooth or IrDA, u can actually just find the file on the phone (or mem card) and then overwrite it with the one on your harddrive.

I hope this clears things a little bit. Sorry for the vague folder paths and stuff. When i get my phone back i'll post the correct paths.
