3350 games?

I'm Looking at buying a 3350 as they are fairly cheap here now and from what I understand they're like a 3330 and 3315 combined in to one phone with a higher resalution screen, and 3310 cables fit, right? Well my actual question is if I get one of these 3350's can games be uploaded though m/f bus cable?

Sadly, no! The only way to get new games is to download them via wap! I have tried fruitlessly for 6 months to get games on to one via cable! It's just not possible!;)

hie there mate...

as far as i know, u can only upload games to phones which has support for java or mophun games.....most of this phones are those which are among latest to come out in market like 3510i/3530/6610/7210/6100/5100/7250/7250i/6800 etc and has a colour screen....so here i dont think u can upload any games to your 3350, that is simply not possible coz i use to have a 3350 before i sold it off and bought a 3510i and knew almost everything about it....on top of that, most of the games nowdays are in colour, 3350 is monochrome (black & white), so how u going to upload a colour game to a B/W phone????

to chunky, how do u download games to 3350 thru wap????....as far as i know, games for B/W can only be downloaded to one model only, the 3410 not 3350....

by the way, u can use the 3310 data cable for 3350 coz the pin out at the cable are the same for both models...no problems with that...! :)

The 3410 is a very similar phone! Ever played with one? they even have the same covers! Any game that will work on the 3410 will run on the 3350!;)

just wanna clear u out that while the 3350 and 3410 shares the same dimension in covers making the covers swapble between the 2 models, they are not the same in terms of software and hardware...3410 is java enabled phone while 3350 is not....i dont think u will believe me, but then, go ahead, try and see it...:p :D :)

Thanx For the relpys guys, I did't expect to play colour games on it, I just fugured that if you could upload picture mesages and ring tones maybe games too. But any I don't like the 3410 covers as the keys look like those of a 3315 cover (yuk) so I might just save My money and buy a colour triband phone when I go uver seas latter this year, I here that the N-Gage is to be released nere Christmas, might snap up one of them and keep my 3310 to play with on the comp:)

I gotta recommend buying a nice colour phone for gaming as you've decided :)

I've got the 3410, since I don't play many games it's great, but if I wanted to play games it would be rather irritating not being able to play almost no colour games.

You can actually play colour games, obviously in B&W, since the phone downsamples on the fly...I thought that was pretty cool :D

But there is the 50kb limit on the 3410...so there goes most good games :(

3510i? Or something a little newer? I don't know what you want for gaming but I would go for the 3510i :)
