Hi there......a newbie with a problem(what's new!)...

I have acquired an aftermarket pc cable for my nokia 7250(£7!!) which clips onto the points under your battery rather than where the headphones clip in and am wondering what type of cable do you call it? .... I have also downloaded the Nokia PC suite but can't get it to work...the PC won't recognise the hardware I think. I am guessing I need the device drivers...someone mentioned Mobile MB ver1.2 or something like that. Any suggestions?Maybe the cable is too good to be true....:?

Can anyone who has this software please please pretty please send it to me at ; [email protected] (grovel, beg, lick)

Cheers...Pete

Well I figured out i am using a serial port cable and can use a cracked Mobile MB program and get the pc to phone link going......but it's in hebrew!...and I can't drag and drop the files like it says you are supposed to do.....

Nokia PC suite ain't working connecting at all either(grrr)...any suggestions for other programs or common problems besides the obvious check your cables and that your phone is on???

Hi,
You cant use nokia data suite with an f/mbus serial cable as nokia data suite supports a usb dku-5 cable and blue tooth. The best programs to use are prob mobimb 1.2.3 and oxygen phone manager 2.1.5, i can send you both if you give me ur e-mail add. Hope it helps
