to santamaria:
Sorry for hearing ur problem.
I have gone to the sandisk website & FAQ
http://www.sandisk.com/tech/faq_search.asp
It said :
Symptoms:
The SanDisk 128MB MMC card does not work in Nokia Communicator 9X series phone.
Affects:
Sandisk products:
128M MMC
Operating systems:
N/A
Hardware platform:
Nokia Communicator (9XXX) Series phones
Cause:
SanDisk and Nokia have worked together to identify the source of the SanDisk 128MB MMC problem with the Nokia Communicator (9XXX) Series phones. Unfortunately, the problem stems from an incompatibility between the two devices and cannot be fixed by either SanDisk or Nokia.
Solution:
The SanDisk 128M MMC card and the Nokia Communicator are NOT compatible. You should exchange your phone or card at the place of purchase as soon as possible.
Why don't u bring this fact to the shop
and ask for a replacement for another brand as it said?
Mine is Visipro and never have any problem so far.
Kingston is also wellknown in my country.
So others that will plan to buy 128 mb MMC for 9210,
don't buy sandisk also don't buy the 256 Mb for using w/ 9210.
9210 can't handle it. U have to make partitions ...etc etc
Just my opinion ... :)

Do I understand that the nokia 9210i can handle 256Mb MMC's but only when using partitions?
If so, that would be OK with me
Do you know how to create partitions on the Nokia?

Someone gave me that idea if I bought the 256 MB.
He said that he has done successfully using Partition Magic.
But I don't want to try. 128 Mb is enough for me right now.
Better wait the new comm that I hope will support the 256MB or greater ... :)

I've currently got an 64Mb card, which I'm thinking about buying a new one. If I can find a store who will met me try the 256mb out, I'll do that ;)
I'm however also looking forward for the 9310(i) :D Not sure if I'll buy it at that time though.. for now the 9210i is more than enough for me :-D
