3650 Important Questions

i have some questions please help if you are an experienced 3650 user or got an idea...

- I bought the phone in 2.hand. Its first user has installed a lot of programs. After i bought the phone i bought a sandisk 128mb mmc it works fine. But phone memory is full with garbage of the first user. So i want to make the phone like its new. Clearly i want to format the phone memory but i want to delete everything (contacts ,mails ,sms ,pictures ,program garbages) and i want set it up to original default settings. Is this *#7...# thing enough?? I know how to format the MMC.

- I was hoping to play mp3's with my 3650 but after i downloaded the MP3Go and tried to listen a song (128Kbps) i was very dissapointed.But i was using an converter cable which converts the phones audio out to a normal stereo jack out. So i can use my high quality headphones with 3650. Far away from the discussion of stereo or mono the sound was like a sound crash there was no bass at all only a low low low quality treble. I mean there is no way to listen a sound like this as a song. What is the problem? the headphones are very well. Can you listen a mp3 with acceptable quality (with some bass and clear treble ,stereo or mono doesnt matter)

- Its firmware is 2.5 what's the latest firmware and does it worth to upgrade it? What are the differences

- My battery duration is up to 1day (but only thing i'm doing now is playing with phone (photo ,java ,infrared ,internet... ) is it normal. Is it possible to use the phone normaly trough 2-3 day.

-Does the phone use its integrated 4Mb memory as RAM. If so i'll never use it as free space.

-Is there anyway to reach my hotmail inbox from messages menu? what is the incoming and outgoing mail servers? (pop and smtp) (i'm using @hotpop.com to view my messages from my
3650 :(

- At last is there any good WinXP program to connect my PC to my phone (with Irda) and to make file transfer more basicly than PC Suite (PC Suite sux)

the ram is not the mem of the fone, but it doesnt haf alot of ram anyway.

fone batt life is like tt, since the screen is big wif colors, expect drainage of batt life.

as 4 rest, im not so sure, doing a search on tis forum might help.

i think u can't upgrade the firware cos i nv heard of anyone doing tt in my country, i do not noe izzit the same thing in other country...

Well the other posts seemed to have answered some of your questions. Hmmm, here in my country for $10 (US) you can get the firmware upgraded to version V3.16 which I believe was already released in UK. All I know of this version is that you can now use a 256MB MMC and also I heard somewhere that the answering machine program will work with the new firmware but you have to have the latest version of the program. Now for transfering FILES to your phone use PC File Manager it's a much better program I think b'cuz you can access all the important drives and folders on your phone. Hmm, as far as transferring you phone contacts I use Oxygen Phone Manager For Symbian Phones...

thanks for your support im now sure about battery and formatting. But most important problem for me is the sound output problem.Is there any way to get simple quality sound from 3650 (i don't mean perfect just some bass) ?. I heard something about HBH-60 (bluetooth headset for T39) is working fine with 3650 and sound is perfect?? Dou you have any idea???

i'm so dissapointed like you in the sound quality, but i think this is not problem of the phone, i think its about the Mp3go decoder, it isnt so optimized, because with other players the sound is worst than mp3go. the best thing you can do is listen it in 128kbps MONO-

and what about your cable , where did you buy or its do it yourself?

I'm not sure about your conjecture. MP3Go is accepted the best mp3 player by everyone, it has to be the best quality. I think the sound we hear while using mp3go is the best sound quality we can ever hear from 3650. Yes it sucks but i never heard that anyone said "nokia doesn't make mistakes". Infact we have to think that if a good sound proccesor was installed in 3650 would anyone buy 3300 ???? (by the way the converter i talked about can be found everywere here in turkey it converts Nokia sound output to standart stereo output)
