Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me with a small problem. I have an 8310 which works ok apart from when someone dial in to me the ringing tones dont work and it just vibrates.

I have gone through the settings on the phone and when you go into ringtones they work perfect but only when someone rings me it doesnt work and only vibrates. I had a suggestion made to me that this phone could need flashing... Is this true.....

Can anyone help me with this problem........

without trying to sound patronising have you checked in profiles that you have it set to ring for ALL CALLS. if so then yes the next thing to try would be flashing. the very early versions did have ringtone and vibration faults and 99% were rectified with flashing later software into the handset.

Yes mate ive been into profiles and all the settings are as normal... It just has no ring when someone dials in to me... vibrates though....

The version is; v 03.07 so yes its an early one...

Ive never flashed a phone before so what software should i use?

I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHEAP FLASHERS TO BE HONEST, I USE NEELIX2. if you want send it to me and include the cost of return post and i will flash it for you. mail me if you want to do this.
