Anyone doing 7250 firmware updates in sydney australia?

as per topic anyone on here doing flash updates in sydney for a 7250 to v3.14 cause no repair centres or nokia themselves won't do it as they're "not allowed" to do it for some stupid reason or another and i don't feel like paying $120 to get a dct4 flasher myself of if anyone is doing them me me and you'll probably get yourself a customer =D

Did you find anyone to do it for you?? I have a 7250 and its FUCT!!!! it worked fine until MobiMB fuct it i rekon. mobimb worked fine, 2day i just changed the start up logo now the phone says "contact service", peice of shit. Its totallly fuct, wont let me do anything, just displays "contact service", i rang nokia and optus, they want me to send it away to nokia, screw paying money.
If you can tell me somewhere or something which will just TOTALLY wipe my phone data and reinstall the firmware or wateva. I just want it back to brand new status i spose, coz i know there aint any ez way past this problem.

Repair centre in parra won't do it i've already called them, it's cause of the fact that the language pack for the australian \ south east asian region haven't been released yet only for the eastern and western european and i think the us, which sounds to me like standard practise of corporate scum, so i guess i'm fucted, and as long as your phone is under a year old just tell them the software screwed up and they should reflash with the same software version 3.12 for free, which is what they did for me... to bad my version already worked and they reloaded it stupidly enough saying they fixed my firmware, so i called up and bitched for ages but that's a different story :D

Lol at ur bitching at corporate scum. I emailed MobiMB and Mike gave more help than any other overseas customer service operator ever has. There's a place called Roadhound in Cardiff Newcastle NSW which my phone is currently at. They are official nokia technicians. Mike at MobiMB was really helpful and it was agreed that his software did not fuck my phone as for it could of been a number of things but really we think its the 7250 shit firmware. And even the lady at nokia told me that the standard firmware for the 7250 isnt the best for transferring files or doing stuff with a cable. Anyway, Roadhound is having a go at fixing my phone, if they can do it, great! Costs me nothing, if they cant they want to replace my phone with a 2nd hand repaired 7250. I told them no, if you cant fix it please give me back that same phone as for I know someone who works at a mobile shop and she actually got me the phone for a lil bit over wholesale price and she’ll simply give me another 7250 box still in plastic wrapper! What a champ! I didn’t want to put her in shit by swapping the phone with her so I thought I’d give the technicians a try! I don’t have a receipt for the phone as for it was cash in hand but Roadhound look up the warranty on the actually phone and I still get free warranty service with no receipt. That pretty sweet.
Anyway, they say it will take 3-4 days and they’ll get back to me. It’ll be interesting if they can fix it, I really hope so.
