6600 polyphonic ringtones?

i saw in one of the threads that its 16 chords only! is this info rihgt? they should increase it to 64 or even more as the t610 has 64 i believe. when will we know the final specs of it.

yeah i need more than 16. my friends t610 sounds much more lively and clear then my 3650. when u see the quality start talking cuz its much better. and nokia should be paying attention to the customers needs. im high demanding, but thats why im paying them the money for the phone.

hey..with a phone like 6600 why still need to hear 'only instruments' ringtone..hehe..i mean im using 3650 and im alredi using wavs as ringtones..doesnt hurt the space much since we are all using mmc.. :)

so don care how good is polyphonic quality is..just make it 100% stereo and the phone will rock :)

Yes, I know Nokia has not the best sound quality, but how many channels the phone can play is totally irrelevant. They should increase the sound quality, not the number of channels.

yeah i use them too, but the thing is a lot of them arent high engouh how can i normalize the wavs that are on the phone, cuz i tried many programs and they couldnt read the wav, when i get back i guess i will just normalize the mp3's before i put them on the phone. but i cant wait till the 6600 comes out. btw my phone and any camera phone is iligieal where i live, saudi arabia.

All my wav files are very loud. Use Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer to increase the loudness of the sound to like 200%. You can even select which part of the song you only want to use

but does anyone knows whether 6600 is cheaper or sx1 is cheaper?? because if its the sx1 cheaper..i don really mind migrating brand since its all symbian 6 and all programs n games will be compatible... and the thing is that features in the siemens are much BETTER than 6600... maybe nokia is just doing things slowly to get more sales ???

i dun think sx1 will be any better than 6600....just take a look at he keypad...
one look on it and u should noe it would cause much problems to the users..

Have you tried using the SX1?I agree that the keypad looks weird but its not that hard.Feature wise it will wipe the floor with the 6600.

SE should be having a major press converence real soon,then we shall see what we shall see(i'm reffering to the p900,which if real,will wipe the floor with all off them :) )
