I tried searching this subject on these forums... NO RESUTLS
anyone knows how I can send any file or at least these .sis and .jar files via Multi-Media Message (MMS)?
I know I can send them zipped, thou.. If I want to send some jar/jad files to other phones other than S60, it'll just be NO use by using zip format...
thanks

try renaming for example seleq.sis to seleq.mid or amr

the best way is to upload it in any server.
then download it to your phone through gprs.

This won't help... It will result in a "corrupt file" notice. Sending files over MMS is only possible with an old Video MMS program, though I haven't tried it.

That doesnt work thu, i've put a sis file on a server and everytime I try to download it from my phone it comes up as an error; the file location was:
http://www.danby2k2.com/apps/irRemote.sis
What am I doing wrong ?

Did you enter the URL into your wap browser? Because this is the wring way to do it, the wap browser on you phone does not support that format (web format). It should be put onto a WAP server, for example you could use tagtag.com.
Hope this helps,
Uts

Yep I put the url into my phone browser; allright I see; so basically I have to find a wap hosting and save it on the wap hosting and then link directly to my phone or is there anything else I need doing ?

Have not had luck with MMS, but have emailed myself .sis and .jar files and has worked every time.

Just install ZipMan in your fone and send the app/sis/jar zipped to the other fone.

I guess... the only solution is by using a WAP hosting Server...
by the way... is there a way that I can host the file in my FTP server and it will be able to be used by any phone?
OR
is there a GOOD program for WAP server programs?
I didn't search google yet... I'll do search.. I just asked that you guys might know a GOOD program for WAP servers ;)
If I did find a good WAP server, I'll let you guys know...
do one thing juzz install seleq on ur cell, after that browse the folder containing ur data (in c drive or d drive)then press the option button n ull get sending option there (SEND VIA: mms, bt, ir)select the mode u want
