ive got a 8850 that doesnt ring out what can i do

What do you mean "Ring out"? It doesn't make calls, or it won't ring?:(

doesnt make calls or receive any calls

If it has full signal, but doesn't make or receive calls, then you have corrupt software! Just reflash with a new file! The full tutorials on flashing and updating is in the Forum FAQ!;)
