Ftp ???

Hi everyone

I'm a newbie and i know nothing. I was just wondering what an FTP is and what it does.

ftp = forward transfer protocol

it's used to "forward" a file from one database(the server) to another(your pc).

for example, when you download an mp3 file, you use ftp to transfer the file from his server to your hard drive.
