Optimizing Memory

Does any one know how to optimize the memory usage for the phone?

Like... is the programs installed eating memory even though its not being used? will uninstalling these programs increase the memory capacity of the phone usage?

Im not talking about Data Capacity.... Like the Ram of the Phone =P

what should I do? delete stuff on the phone?

the lesser ur mem left, the more slow it will run.

or u can close all applications by holding down the menu key to optimise performance.
