still no joy - Im entering code correctly but as I press the last hash key brings up code error message and small sign then goes back to screen asking to insert sim ????

any way of unlocking or you reckon its had it ??

a couple of questions
does a vodafone sim card work in the phone?
have more than five unlocks been attrempted?
did u buy the phone new?

yes bought phone new on pay monthly with vodaphone - reported lost but found it again (in suit trousers ) old vodafone sim card doesnt work you can see all info stored but cant call out(as shut by provider Id imagine ) have not attemted any unlocks until today - 2 so far. Just keeps asking for a security code - I have tried a tmobile sim in it and again asks for security codes

does that mean its useless ?? or can I get a pay as you go vodafone sim for it ?? seems a shame to bin it !!!

no sim will work at all in the phone
u can get around this but its illegal
