I read from a Nokia DCT4 6310 phone manual. It says nokia uses RSA BSAFE encryption on its product.
Does it mean the flash files the DCT4 is using is encrypted or the programming of the DCT4 is encrypted?
What type does it used?
RSA BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition, RSA BSAFE Cert-C Micro Edition or RSA BSAFE Cert-J Micro Edition, or else?
I can't download from this site:
https://rsasecurity-eval.subscribenet.com/control/srsae/index?program=Protocol%20Promotion
it requires a valid email address (yahoo.com, hotmail.com, etc are not allowed)
I know its very very hard (next to impossible?) to decrypt such encryption, but at least we have an idea how it came to be encrypted.
