Activating NetMonitor (Network Monitor)

Most Nokia fones come with a hidden extra menu called netmonitor. The 92XX also has this menu

NetMonitor is divided into many submenus with numbers from 1 to 123. Submenus 1-19 show precise technical information about GSM network you're logged in and the rest informs about different parameters of your phone, PDA and connected accessories.

Netmonitor can be activated using a F/Mbus cable and Logomanager

Connect your commy to your pc. Load Logomanager. Select tools then network monitor.

Click on any of the options displayed and select activate, then select another option further down the list and select engineering.

Your fone will restart after each option.

hmm.. I should really try to get my hand on such a F/M-Bus cable ;)

Do you know if there is a PDA-side program to access the netmonitor (after it's been activated).

Hi,
If someone wants to know for what is Netmonitor usefull,
and what menus what mean, I can give you much advices about that, just post a reply here.

Think the most beautiful, if the option that you can block yourself on some other BTS that is not prefered prefered, or accept the cells that other phones can't and more....

personally I think the useful screens are 93 power on cmt wakeup, 92 headset, 45 transmitter enabled ;-), and 31 serial port mode

For me is most usefull Net. inf - 1 and 3-5,
20 battery, and 19 BTS test,

Do you know that there is an ability that if you hook up on one
cell and your friend do the same, you can talk with him for free directly. We have tested it in our collage and it was working,
but just on the cells that are not fully connected to netwotk.

PS: For what is good 31 - serial port mode?

why not connect 9210 via infrared?to logomanager?it can activated netmonitor on that way.

for flashing the phone,can change state to mbus=>fbus or vice versa

As far as I know logomanager cannot be activated via infrared

As far as I know it's not the real true, that it can't be activated via IRDa, just there are no programs that can do it.
Basicly on the most phones the Netmonitor can be activated without the computer by useing the code, (the code is other for every phones, think it's depending on imei.
But this is the hard way, so noone is using it, just buy for $10 the M2bus cable, or make it yourself.

PS: For what is 31 - serial port mode, as far as I know the modes mbus or fbus are changing automaticaly,
may it be useful just for information which one is being used.

Please tell me about loggo manager i install it on my pc and i did connect my 9210i to the cable but the loggo manager cannot see my phone.
wile installing the software i choosed the connection by serial ....
but it's not working so please sektor help

what cable are u using?

are u using the standard cable that comes with the fone or the m/fbus cable?

logomanager does not work with the standard cable (dlr-2l), it only works with the m/fbus cable
