The *#30# Code

i recently visited dr bizars nokia web site, in which i found a code (*#30#) that said it would let you see a private number.

after i typed this code i can't seem to get a phone call from a witheld number.

so i'm thinking, could it be that the code ment to do exactly that?? or am i way out, coz i thought i would dispay the number, not bar witheld numbers?

would a full factory reset undo the code??

*#code# will do nothing, more that show you if you already activated the code..

to activate any gsm code's service, you need to do *code#
to deactivate, just do #code#

put *#30# into google and find what it is..

*30# - enable number showing. this will make your phone show numbers from people who are not hidding the numbers (default).

#30# - disables the option, so every number is like a witheld number.

*#30# - simply show you the status.
