Hi,

Seen a couple of your posts about the A29 WAP resetting problem. I've also had the same problem with my handset. Did you manage to resolve it, or not?

If not, is there any chance you can give me a link to the firmware file that you used to downgrade your handset?

Many thanks;

Matt

Cheers for that, just downloading it now.

I also sent Panasonic an email, asking them if they can unofficially advise me on the problem, clearing stating that I accept all responsibility, blah blah...... Don't think for one minute they'll reply, but it's worth a try.

Let me know if you manage to find another way of sorting the problem.

it seems to be the circuit prompt that causes the reset, although no setting seems to fix it :(

if you downgrade then load up your homepage then flash to a29 you can see that home page, as soon as you try to go anywhere else it resets, it also resets when you try to alter 'circuit prompt' in the settings

I've heard about an A32 firmware. I haven't been able to find it, but do you know if the problem still exists in that version?

YEsss!!!!! Ive fixed it! :)

downgrade the phone to A13 with spunlock v5
start the browser, in the openwave menus, goto settings and then circuit prompt, set it to off then press ok.
upgrade the phone to A29 with winmodo

make sure after setting the prompt to off, that you press the ok button to accept changes, then exit the browser and go back in to make sure it remembered it.

Yeah, just done that.

I'm assuming this means it'll connect without warning tho? Small price to pay I spose.
