flashing???

I have a nokia 3530
with ver 4.01 firmware
can i flash it i with 3510i firmware 4.44 or is there new flash file available for 3530
also iwant to know whut kinda hardware i need for flashing???

the hardware you need for flashing is a dct4 flasher cable.

about software, the 3530 and 3510i are the same as much as i know, but i wouldn't suggest you to flash another model's firmware, besides that, firmware updates are mostly for fixing bugs, if your phone is working properly - you don't have to update it's firmware.

if you still want to do the upgrade, read the phones flash before flashing, and save a full backup... just in case.. :)

the version numbers can be different with different models, so the 3530 V4.01 may be newer than 3510i V4.44..

but there is one more thing that i wanted to ask and that is that can a dct4 flasher cable be used as a data cable too
is it a f/m bus cable ?????
