I've never tried icon manager, but I have some icon packs in mbm format.
Could you tell me how to change the original icons in Desk with these icons?

hi denmas,

this is the step to use the extraicon

1. copy the file e.g: "extraicons03.mbm" into c:\system\apps\home.

2. goto desk. Select the shortcut, u want to change the icon.
Click menu --> properties --> icon.

Hope this help ... :)

Thank Satria, but it does not work.

It should be like this:

1. Copy a new mbm file (eg. MetalIconPack.mbm) into c:\system\apps\home.

2. Go to those sub-folder and make a backup copy of existing extraicons.mbm, or you can just rename it into extraiconsbackup.mbm (press Ctrl + R to rename the file and then press OK).

3. Rename your new mbm file into extraicons.mbm.

4. Go to Desk. Select the shortcut icon you want to change and then click menu --> properties --> icon -->change

This procedure work well on my device.

Yes, you can create your own iconpack. Try this procedure:

1. Install mbmwizard PC Program in the attachment.

2. Run it and try to extract any mbm file you have downloaded from this thread [menu: file-import-choose mbm-file].

3. Save every single bmp file on it and open them on paint brush, photoshop, or other graphic programs to know how large the pics are in pixels.

4. Find interesting images, cut, n save them in bmp/jpg format, and make an iconpack by using mbmwizard program.

Done..

Sorry, the previous mbmwizard program does not work.

Try to extraxt n reinstall the program on the attachment.

To create a Mbm file, follow this procedure:
- reinstall the program
- run the program
- in the File Selection column, choose the drive, sub folder, n select the file/s (jpg, bmp, gif format)
- press Add selected as button (choose /c8, /c12, /c16, or /c24) n the selected file/s will be on the right column
- select the file/s in Files in Archieve column
- Press File - Save as - write a new file name. Press OK.

I realize that point 2 n 3 should be revised as follows:

2. Go to this sub folder and rename the new mbm file into extraicons1.mbm. If you add more mbm pack files, just rename them into extraicons2.mbm, extraicons3.mbm, etc.

3. Leave the old extraicons.mbm (standard pack) as it is (do not rename it).
