I downloaded an animated gif to the 3650 and used eprofiles to activate it as a wallpaper but then my phone became very slow and also started getting system errors on start up. the animation itself was very slow....
is this normal with eprofiles or am i doing something wrong???

i dont get errors on startup but yeah the phone slows down when doing mem intensive stuff. so the choice i think is either have a cool looking wallpaper or a fast phone...:D

HI. Don noe if this will be of any help but I saw this somewhere on others forum. The reason of the lag in speed was because the programe was trying to animate a gif tat was too fast. To have a gif tat animate of a slower speed will solve the problem and it will look better too! :p
However, I am using eProfiler too and I too, get this error saying "App Closed ePswitcher error" and after that, the background stopped animating. Wonder wat happened. To resolve, restart is the only way...
U can try this img I attached. Its of a correct speed which I am currently using.

the lag is due to the slow cpu speed and limit memory available.
hope that 6600 got a cpu upgrade.

I tried using a animated GIF for my wallpaper and it eats up the juice of my battery real fast. It doesn't happen with normal wallpaper. Anyone has the same problem?

Well, my common sense tells mi tat if the phone processor has to keep animating the background, of couse it will use up more of ur batt. Don u think so?:D

You're abso right, the tiny processor has to recalculate the GIF with everyframe, so i't's plain logical it's slow your down and costs more battery, 'the processor uses about 70% of the battery and if he has to calculate even harder, well better take your charger with u in the future.
