How to make a screenshot of your 9210's PDA display

Like other EPOC systems, the 92XX has a built in screenshot function, similar to the print screen function of Windows. You can run this by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Chr+S.

After pressing these keys the system displays a dialogue box allowing to choose where you want to save your screenshot:

The picture is saved in MBM (MultiBitMap) format. You can convert it to a format suitable for you PC in two ways:

1. Load File Manager, go to the folder containing your MBM screenshot, select it and press Open. It will be displayed in 9210's graphics viewer. Now you can use some edit functions, and then select Save as option from menu. Choose the destination folder for your picture and press Change format command button to save your screenshot as either JPEG or BMP.

or

2. You can transfer your MBM file to PC and then convert it to BMP using a tool included in SDK: Bmconv.exe, this is located in Shared\Epoc32\Tools directory. The syntax for this program is: Bmconv.exe /u name.mbm name.bmp
