3410 dead

I have a 3410 which is dead (i thing)
any suggestions? i've tried to readit but i failed.

If the phone absolutely 100% refuses to read in, (and you know your setup works), then you have hardware problems. I guess you could clean up the board (check for water damage) etc...

But if it's that damaged...I have a feeling it may be futile.

Have you got a flash lead or a data lead?

Flash lead goes in your LPT printer port, Data lead in COM port.

Also, you do not say if you are getting anything if you plug in a charger, if the battery is totally discharged, it will take a while to report on the LCD whether its charging or not.

Another method is to remove the facia totally, get a small insulated screwdriver and bridge the contacts on the power switch, this usually kick starts the power up process. If this works, concentrate on fitting a new power switch.

Remember, best results are seen if you only have to work with the PCB.With it all stripped down, you can see any visible defects.
You can still power up with just the battery and PCB.Use an elastic band to secure the battery to PCB while you depress the power button or bridge the gap.

I have both cables.
After I posted the message I opened the phone and i found that it had rust on it probably from some liquid.
I 've tried to repair some defective contacts by thermal air but there was no result.
The phone is still dead.
Is there any possibillity that u or anyone else have the PCB diagram for the 3410? I thing this will help me to find where exactly the problem is.

I have a PCB layout diagram for a 3310. These are similar layout to 3410, only difference is on the keypad side.
