I am on O2-UK.

I am completely new to sending and recieving faxes. I know I can send faxes but havnt got a clue how to set up and recieve faxes.

Any help on how to set up my 9210 to recieve faxes?

There is nothing that needs setting up. When you recieve a fax the commy handles it like an sms message and beeps. It is stored in tiff format.

Send one to yourself, or if you want I'll send you one, there is nothing thatneeds setting up. I'm assuming that you have a fax number from cellnet yeah.

Sorry about the 4 'Re: Fax' posts on the main forum, dont know what happened there.

How do I go about getting a fax number from o2? Will that be the number to send faxes to my phone?

Yeah, ring up o2 and say u want a data and fax number. One of two things are gonna happen now

1. The person on the other end of the line is gonna start talking shit cause they havent got a clue what ure talking about and start passing u 2 other depts. (thats why I left 02)

or

2. There gonna say data/fax dept. is closed ring back monday, u ring back and they assign u a fax number, its this number that recieves faxes and its this number u give 2 ppl as your fax number

I dont think it is, As far as I know data/fax is available only to ppl with a contract. But ring them and c what they say. but I doubt it mate
