View Full Version : 3650 Datacable, please help...

I've just received a datacable for my 3650 which I have bought over ebay and I'm having problems making it work....

I plug it in at the back of the pc and into my phone and select the correct port in the appropriate program (Logomanager and oxygen phone manager II)...

The problem is that no program seem to be recognising it or picking up on it; I have a 7250 whith another data cable which works fine so I aint got a clue whats wrong...

And yes its firmly in place;

PLEASE HELP

First of all you shouldn't have bought a DATA Cable in the first place and especially not from some kinda website, but have you tried using the Standard PC-Suite who came with your phone???

But if i where you i'll go inform if you can return the cable because bluetooth dongle or a MMC reader is much easyer and you don't have to screw your phone open.

I will try that, I did not get a standard PC-suit with my phone, whats that ? I will try to get a refund for the datacable;

With a blutooth adapter can I still edit contacts, see images, see text messages from my pc and get backup my phone ? If so how much does a blutooth adaptor cost and where can I get it from ?

If you got your phone from an offcial dealer you should have gotten a CD-ROM with an program called 3650 PC-Suite, try to download it on www.nokia.com

And yes as far as i know you can do the same with a BT adapter, the only thing you can't do i s Upgrade the Firmware and flashing.

And an adapter is about 35 Euros, and you can buy them in a Computer Store or Phone Shop, but first check the Compustore, they are usually cheaper there.
