anyone know if this it is possible :
it is an ideea because same look and i think same fls size but tihs isn't tested i have the ppm+mcu for a 3610 but i don't have the eeprom and the prog to recognize 3610
and the veryy big problem is my 3410 that doest work the boot section is wrong and i don't know how to write this knok doesn't recocnize this and it doesn't turn on it is off all the time

If the FLS size is the same, selecting the 3330 from the menu will work fine. (The same trick to write to a 3410, select 3330 from the drop down list in Rolis Flasher).

Now, I don't think the 3410 --> 3610 conversion is possible...on the basis that the 3610 has WAP2? I guess thats a hardware modification?

Of course the only way to test it would be to get your hands on a FuBu...but that's not gonna happen for a bit...is it :)?

Where did you get the FuBu or Eeprom from? Cause you can't just write the MCU+PPM to the phone with a 3410 Eeprom can you?

I don't know mate...I guess it just won't really work...very well.

As far as I'm aware, you can't do any damage to a phone by flashing, you can only temporarily affect the way it runs...causing it to malfunction.

However, I don't believe that it's possible to cause permanent and irreversable damage just by flashing :)

now i kan share my experience. i have the fubu PPM+MCU+EEPROM the size is 4.00 MB and i had worte this in a 3410 and didn't work . the cellphone doesn't swich on . i thinck the hadrware doesn't mach or the fubu isn't good
but 3610 and 3410 in the same at first sight

Sure, but a 3610 like a 3410 4 meg flash is:

MCU+PPM+ PMM +EEPROM

(PMM is where all the games are) :)

mate when i first downloaded the fubu it said PPM+MCU+EPPROM this was for 3310 and i suppozed it was the same on 3410
and what is PMM and with what prog can i view this ?
and when i released my mode menu i had changedd some things little thins. if u want to start helping me with my project calle "project A" i'll be glad.u'll find the moded menu on forum and try to.
3610 fls wasn't a joke. doesn't work on 3410 try it too

I never said the 3610 flash was a joke :)?

Okay:

3310 fls = "MCU+PPM+EEPROM"
3410 fls = "MCU+PPM+PMM+EEPROM"

The PMM contains a lot of data, games, recent phone numbers, text...etc. It's a harddrive ;)

Jeep can explain it waaaay better than me, since he is finishing off his program for examining & editing the 3410 PMM.

I think you need to combine a 3610 fls as the MCU+PPM+(3410 PMM)+Eeprom

before you could get it to work, since your eeprom is in the wrong place. (The phone I believe should turn on even if it's for the wrong phone).

PM Jeep, it's still in beta, but he allows beta testers.

It's working on several fronts, I haven't had time to completely test it, but what I have tested has worked very well...well...apart from the bugs I've found :)

But seriously it's pretty good already :)

PM me with an email address and I'll gladly send you the latest version to test out. That also goes for anyone else who wants to help as well :) Flashing experience is essential - you'll need a partial flash from 570000 to 600000 or FuBu from your 3410 to use it.
