someone posted here that since 92xx are mono then you have to convert mp3 in mono so it will have small file size.....any software for re-converting existing stereo mp3 into mono mp3???

just do a search in google for re-encoding mp3 and c what comes up.

converted stereo mp3 to mono & found out that it the filse size is still the same unless you reduce the bit rate

encode the mp3 with bitrate 96K (mono) or 32K (mono), thats what ive justbeen told, and these bitrates should be ok storage wise aswell.
