5110 flash with t-9 ?

anybody heard of such thing?
just wondering, cant search the board for 5110 + T-9 because of the 4-letter wordlength req'd ...

thanx, but as i normally do not accept a "not possible" I've done a little experimenting ... took a german T-9 language chunk out of a 6150 P5.23 and loaded it into the 5110 flash instead of all the other languages .. but - I have to admit: THAT was not the big trick ... no language output on the screen anymore .... back to standard for the moment ....

anyone with further ideas? - 1 step out of the line plz :-)

Yeh, pico, care to extend on what you said?

I guess the MCU doesn't have the code to convert your keypresses into the T9 standard for guessing your words...

SO, unless you were to do some hefty programming...?

Of course I may be completely wrong, but I think that sounds about right :)

when i first read the question, the thought of making your list of added words in that tiny eeprom, gave my biggest doubt. as above, was just obligatory tbh..
