First, I want to thank everybody for helping me. You know who you guys are.
Especially Romeo26222, mekme, SmarKies who've helped creating menu bitmaps.

Mods:

* Bars:
- g3n0lite animating netbars
- Changed battery and netstrngth icons
- Moved battery bars upside-down

* Texts:

- Added blinking and linefeed characters
- Modified texts and maked some blinking
- Deleted other texts in AORD and TEXT area
- Repositioned the special characters list

* Slideshow
* Addded 64 of the BEST tones
* Updated opereators list token from 3310 6.07 PPM
* Inverted LCD
* New font
* Changed SMS tones Beep once and Special
* Changed alarm and starttone
* Changed 90% of grphX
* Fading LEDS (I used Fade-out, 400)
* Hardcore modded Menu with secccode.
* Killed FAID

Keys:

#0000# -> Slideshow*
*0000# -> Warranty menu
*#0000# -> Version info

* To edit the slideshow, use SlidEdit

USE:

-Flash the file with Rolis 4.78b6
-Wait -> Open NokTools 1.9 by Rolis
-Press the read button
-Press FAID ->wait for the startup sequence
-Press SP -> ||
-Press SFR
-Press SW Reset
-Phone off
-Phone off
-And look...

You can't take all FUBU of 5110, since it has eeprom in external eeprom IC...

Sorry for this newbie question.
I'm getting an error message when I open the .fls file in the Flasher Rolis 4.78b6 "This is not a nokia flash image or it are not complete", but I can get it in the 5110. Then when I turn it on I get this message in the mobile display
SW<->ASIC
MISMATCH
USE SW FOR
DSP ROM 3
I'm gessing that the file from ProjecT is only part of the firmware of the phone, correct me if i'm wrong. If so were can I get a firmware compatible with ProctecT or better how can I make ProjecT working with my firmware since I would like to have the phone in Portuguese.

You have an old 5110 ROM3 version, you need to have a ROM3 flash, as mine is ROM4...

Can I patch parts of your file into the original flahs of my ROM3 phone to have the new stuff the your flash do?
What program would permit me to do that?

hello my friend, i just want to share the preview of my on-going mod for 3210....

i hope you'll become inspired on doing one that looks like this on a 5110!

i use:
1. TAPZONE - created by my friend JonJocker, like 0z0ne - use for editing zones...
2. JonNoks 1.08 - for hunting the hex values of battery bitmaps, bars...
3. PPMEdit - (thanks TnP!) - for finding the X,Y locs of the batt and batt-bars...
4. g3n0lite 1.7 - thanks g3gg0! for netstrength as "screensaver-like" which covers the 84 X 38 screen...:thumb:(i hope it wouldn't drain my battery!:D, because it continuously runs as Net Strength!)

the battery icon(located at the lower-left corner) is a big-one with the 4-bars inside it....

Don't even think of a NetStrenth bar, as a Hardcore Nokia Messer, you should know that the netstrenth has a drain bug on 3210...

have you ever tried using the mods blinking text character? it's not working when you try to send it to other phones. It's only blinking when you are writing a message but is NOT blinking when other phones will receive the message. And I also observed that this code is not working on 5110, 6110 and 6150's although the linefeed character is working...

the 3210 seems to be rather weak in energy management..
so my routines that have to be called on every net calculation
will consume tooo much of the cpu time....
this results in battery drain ;(
thats the only idea i have in that question...
maybe the specific firmware calls the calc routine too often

other phones seem to work well with it...
i used 8250 long time with bar and it seemed to work perfectly.

I had the same thing. I simply flashed it anyway, and turned off the phone, then back on again.

Instead of using the Noktools, I loaded up Eeprom tools, and used that. Even though Eeprom tools came up with an error, it was fine after this process.

BTW - Excellent job - It's a pity you can't re-issue it with the colours inverted, as it's a bit far-out for me ;-)

hey guys, i tried to flash the file using rolis 4.78b6 but it hangs in the start when it says turn on the phone shortly

flashing wont start even in knok phoenix

im using nokia flash cable dejan_1.04
nokia 5110 v05.11

whats the problem with it?

3210_531 has no battery drain bug...TESTED 1000000%.....
i patched the "bubbles going up" - 6 frames...
changed the frames into 78X28 size
worked NORMAL - does not drain the battery

so.........the project continues........... :D

i still cant flash my phone coz any software wont read my phone

im using a dejan flasher cable

it has 2 dongle, one with a nk-box label and one with v-1.04

but if i use only the mbus cable connected to com1, i can read my phone using noktool

do you think my dongle is defective?how can i tell?

does someone has a schematic for this kind of flasher?

can i use the cable for 61xx to my 5110 for flashing coz i think wat i have rite now is the cable for 61xx?

yes, the 61xx cable will work on 5110 because they have the same pinouts, and the cable i am using for 5110 is a 6150 cable... these cables will work with 61xx (except 6100) and 51xx. Anyway, what is the program you are using? have you set the program to use the port where your cable/dongle is connected?, try configuring your BIOS settings, look under Integrated Peripherals, (or similar, look for a certain parallel port setiings and make sure it is set to ECP or EPP, not SPP.
