nokia 3510i - accessory not supported !

i have nokia 3510i data cable (auto F/M Bus), but evry time i connect it and try usining it in any app (NokTool, Oxygen...) the phone respones : "accessory not supported ! ", did my cell-phone company blocked me from using the data cable ? whatzzz wrongggg????

this is the 2nd time i posting this and none if u helping me~! :(

I had this problem and found it was the cable so i bought one from a ligit supplier on-line and it worked perfect

I think problem is not with your cable, but with software you are using to connect your phone. I had this message when I tryed to use software for 3310 on my 3510i!!!

yes, this is true here also with me...i tried using the nokia logomanager with my 3510i and suddenly, the error message "accessory not supported" came out and the whole logomanager became unstable/hang/crash...i ended the program and used the mobiMB and the problem is resolved...

hello again...

i guess u dont need to upgrade your phone's software to a latest new version to get rid of this problem...all u need to do is get the right software and right cable/connection from the phone to PC...thats all...

still, it is not a total waste of time or money if u upgrade your phone's software version but this is not required in this case to solve your problem, meni..........just thought of telling u that!!

Well... u want belive what happend to me... i went to my cell phone company to upgrade the phone (its free cuz i only have it abuot 4 mounth...) anyway when i returnd to take the phone thay told me that the phone isnt working at all... and the screen is vibirate and all kind of stuff... and they told me they need to bring me "2nd hand" nokia 3510i and it will take a few days... and gave me samsung 514 until i`ll get my 3510i... b.t.w: the phone was in great condition... should i take a 2nd hand phone? or take only new one ???

well meni, it looks like u are in deep shit:) ....but hell why should they screw up the phone and lets u be responsible for all there is??...first u sent the phone for a software upgrade...if they cant upgrade the software at the first place, why do they bother opening the phone then??

then, they damaged the phone and blaming that on u somehow that they will get u a 2nd hand phone instead a new...on top of that u just used the phone for 4 months, it quite a while before the warranty expires!!!

wat i dont understand is why are they giving u a 2nd hand phone instead of a new one, after all it was them who spoiled the phone....it looks like as if they are taking u for being a fool.....i see there's no reason why u should be taking a 2nd hand phone instead of a new one!!! demand your rights as consumer!!!:D

I talked with the maneger and yilled at him... but it didnt help. they say the warranty is only on 2nd hand phone... witch looks like real new one.. finelly i took it... and fax the company fax about what happend... i will no give up... and b.t.w. the upgrade didnt sold the "accsory not supports!" problem... :(
